South Ridge Yellow Post Sites are three designated free dispersed campsites marked by yellow posts along Forest Road 5S11 in the San Bernardino National Forest near Idyllwild, CA. Suitable for cars, vans, and pickup trucks (4WD advised due to steep, dirt, rutted road); small trailers up to 20ft possible with 4WD. Sites include picnic tables and fire rings. Pack in/pack out, no water, trash, or other services. 8 persons max, 14-day limit, 2 vehicles max. First-come, first-served. Popular, especially weekends; quieter at site #3.
