South Ridge Yellow Post #1 is one of three free, first-come-first-served Yellow Post campsites along South Ridge Road 5S11 in San Bernardino National Forest near Idyllwild, CA. This small site offers 1 picnic table and 1 fire ring, with a maximum of 8 persons and 2 vehicles. No restroom facilities, no drinking water, and no other camping allowed on the road. The 1.5-mile access road is steep, dirt, and bumpy; 4WD advised. Suitable for cars, vans, pickup trucks, or small trailers up to 20ft. 14-day camping limit.
