South Leyva is a primitive campsite within Big Bend Ranch State Park in Presidio County, Texas. The site is located along the Rio Grande corridor and features 10 total sites at an elevation of 4,229 feet. Vehicle access is available (4WD not required). The campsite offers no developed amenities—no water or toilets are available. The park encompasses 238 miles of multiuse trails for hiking and mountain biking, with access to the Rio Grande for fishing and water activities. Reservations are required and must be made through the official state park reservation system.
