Free dispersed camping area located at the South Lava trailhead within the East Fort Rock OHV Trail System in Deschutes National Forest. The staging area provides access to 318 miles of OHV trails ranging from easiest to most difficult. Amenities include restrooms and fire rings. No garbage service; pack out all trash. Vehicle access via paved Forest Road 25 and dirt roads. Located at approximately 5,133 feet elevation.
