Additional Info: South Fork Campground is located along the South Fork of Stony Creek in the Grindstone District of Mendocino National Forest. It consists of two large camping areas equipped with 10 picnic tables and fire rings set among an open grove of oak trees adjacent to a year-round stream. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with payment via Recreation.gov Scan & Pay QR code. It accommodates trailers up to 30 feet and offers vault toilets and potable drinking water. Popular with OHV enthusiasts with direct access to trails. Nearby attractions include Davis Flat and Fouts Campgrounds, and Bathhouse Trailhead. Stream fishing is popular in winter and early spring.
