South Carlsbad State Beach Campground is a large bluff-top facility with 223 campsites offering ocean views and stairs to the beach below. It features restrooms with showers, a dump station, camp store, and select sites with hookups. Additional Info: Sites 1-72 and 156-222 are oceanfront. Hookups (power, water, sewer) available on sites 131-135 and 214-222. 10 accessible sites: 16, 77, 87, 97, 108, 119, 126, 148, 153, 184. Dogs prohibited on the beach.

So great for family camping! Best part about this campground is their camp store. They have everything you need/may have forgotten to take camping AND there’s a yummy restaurant that serves pizza and other feel good foods. Kids love it here! During the holidays, there’s a light show at the camp store - highly recommend 😍
