South Branch Trail Camp Group Site is a group campground in Huron-Manistee National Forests near Oscoda, Michigan, ideal for equestrian camping with priority for campers with horses though everyone is welcome. It accommodates up to 250 campers in a stand of oak and pine adjacent to the South Branch River, with access to the 240-mile Michigan Shore-to-Shore Horseback Riding and Hiking Trail. Facilities include three vault toilets, an electric water pump (requires camper-provided 5,000 watt generator), one garbage bin, and picket posts. Parking for up to 65 vehicles and a day-use horse parking area are available. Drive-in access with sites next to parking; boat-in access possible.
