Soda Pocket Campground

Soda Pocket Campground is located in Sugarite Canyon State Park near Raton, New Mexico, at approximately 7,867 feet elevation. The campground sits at the end of a two-mile gravel road leading to the top of a bluff, offering great views of Little Horse Mesa and surrounding landscape. The campground features approximately 30 campsites with covered picnic tables and fire rings. Facilities include vault toilets, potable water, solar showers, and a solar wash bin. An outdoor kitchen with BBQ is available for meal preparation, and storage boxes protect campers and food from wildlife. The campground is first-come, first-served with no hookups. Hiking and wildlife viewing opportunities are abundant in the area.
