Snug Harbour is a primitive backcountry campsite in Gros Morne National Park, accessed via an unmarked 8 km strenuous hiking route from the Western Brook Pond trailhead, requiring a ford across Western Brook. The site features a pit toilet and food locker. Campfires are not permitted; carry a stove. Overnight camping permits are required ($9.80 per person per night plus park entry) and available first-come, first-served at visitor centres or campgrounds. Additional Info: Terrain involves 800 m elevation gain to access the North Rim viewpoint overlooking Western Brook Pond gorge. Topographic maps recommended.
