Snake River Dispersed in the John D. Rockefeller Jr. Memorial Parkway offers free dispersed camping along the river. No permit is required. It supports tent and RV camping with designated sites, but has no hookups or drinking water. Features include trash service, picnic tables, firewood available, toilets, pets allowed, and fires permitted. Pull-through sites are available and it is big rig friendly. Arrive early as spots fill quickly during peak times. Great for hiking and wildlife viewing near Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Additional Info: Dispersed camping on government land; pack in and pack out. Leave no trace.
