It is located in the Idaho Panhandle National Forests on the shores of Smith Lake, north of Bonners Ferry. The campground sits at high elevation (3,036 ft) and access depends on snowpack conditions. Amenities include potable water, vault toilets, a boat ramp for lake access, and a day use area with 3 picnic units. The remote location offers opportunities for fishing, swimming, and a peaceful lakeside experience.
