Slate Island Campsite
About this site
Slate Islands Provincial Park is a natural environment park located in Lake Superior, 12 km south of Terrace Bay, Ontario. It consists of rugged islands including Patterson and Mortimer Islands, with backcountry camping allowed at established sites on interior bays, beaches, and shorelines. Three-sided shelters and thunderbox toilets are available at some sites. Non-Canadian visitors require a crown land camping permit. No visitor facilities or services are provided.
