Slate Creek Campground
About this site
Slate Creek Campground (BLM) has 14 single-family campsites located next to the Green River a few miles downstream from Fontenelle Reservoir. All campsites are first-come first-serve and free. The spacious campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include 2 ADA vault toilets and trash collection. All camp roads and parking spurs are dirt. Picnic areas are also near the campground. Additional Info: Located on the west side of the Green River, approximately four miles south of Fontenelle Reservoir, off Highway 372. The area is known for birdwatching and fishing.
