Skihist Campground
About this site
Skihist Provincial Park is situated above the Thompson River on Highway 1, 6km east of Lytton. The park was established in 1956 mainly to provide overnight accommodation for travellers on Highway 1. The lush green lawns of Skihist have always invited travellers to stop and relax from the heat of the summer. The park preserves a section of the historic Cariboo Wagon road. Additional Info: 58 campsites (54 RV-accessible up to 32 ft, 4 tent-only), first-come first-served, pet-friendly, with picnic tables, fire pits, pit/flush toilets, water taps, garbage stations, sani-station, and wood corral. No RV hookups. Open summer season.
