Sixes River Campground offers 19 campsites tucked into a forested hideaway along the Sixes River. It’s an excellent destination for picnicking, swimming, and wildlife viewing. Popular activities at the campground include camping, fishing, sightseeing, gold panning, and water play. Sixes River Campground is shaded by towering big-leaf maple, oak, and Douglas-fir trees that provide abundant cover throughout the campground. Additional Info: Site 14 is one of the designated campsites shown on the official BLM map, equipped with picnic table and fire ring. The campground is first-come, first-served with no hookups or drinking water. Vault toilets are available. Dogs must be on a 6-foot leash. Poison oak is common. Open Memorial Day weekend through September 30.
