Simax Group Campground
About this site
Simax Group Campground is located on the northeast end of Crescent Lake in Deschutes National Forest, offering some of the most beautiful scenery in central Oregon. The campground features four separate group sites designed for both lakeside and forest camping, accommodating groups of 30 to 40 people each. Amenities include picnic areas, sandy beaches, a large picnic pavilion, drinking water, flush toilets, and hot shower facilities. The roads and spurs throughout the campground are paved. This site was designed to be fully accessible for those with disabilities and is the first of its kind in the Northwest, with a trail system designed for accessibility linking the group sites to day-use areas and beaches. Popular activities include water skiing, sailing, windsurfing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, fishing, and off-roading.
