Silver Island Site 5 is one of three backcountry campsites on Silver Island Lake in Superior National Forest, accessible only by boat from the boat launch at the adjacent rustic campground. There is no garbage service; pack out all trash. A 300 yard portage connects to T Lake, and further access to Windy Lake is available.
