Silver Island Lake Rustic Campground is a free, primitive campground in Superior National Forest with 8 sites suitable for tents and small RVs or trailers up to 25 feet. Sites feature fire rings and picnic tables, with a modern vault toilet. No potable water or electricity available; bring your own water. Boat launch provides access to 3 backcountry sites on the lake. Rough gravel road access. Additional Info: Located on a large lake surrounded by forested terrain near the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.
