Silers Bald Shelter is a stone backcountry shelter along the Appalachian Trail in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It features a fireplace, water source, and bear cables. The shelter accommodates up to 12 hikers with two-tiered sleeping levels and serves as a stock shelter. Additional Info: Accessed via multi-mile hike from Forney Ridge Trailhead near Clingmans Dome.
