About this site
Sierra View Camp is a backpacking site in Henry W. Coe State Park. It features a picnic table in a spacious site on the edge of a large meadow with panoramic views of the park, Santa Clara Valley, Manzanita Point Road, Cordoza Ridge, and Quien Sabe mountain range. The site is sheltered from wind/sun on three sides and open to the east, ideal for sunrise and sunset viewing. Water is available at nearby Sierra View Spring (reliable except driest years) and Monument Spring on Hobbs Road. No outhouse at the site. Access: 0.6-0.8 miles hike from park headquarters via Manzanita Point Road and Hobbs Road.
