About this site
Shotgun Creek Recreation Site is a popular day-use area featuring hiking trails, a swimming area, meandering creeks, picnicking units, sand volleyball, softball, playground, horseshoe pits, and seasonal water play. Wooden shelters are available for reservation during peak season (May 1-September 30). The site is open year-round for day use with no overnight camping allowed. A $5 per vehicle day-use fee applies, with annual passes accepted. Campfires are restricted to provided steel fire rings or BBQ grills.
