Shields River Dispersed Site is a free, first-come-first-served campground in the West Crazy Mountains on the Yellowstone District of Custer Gallatin National Forest. It offers 6 campsites with restrooms available but no potable water, trash pickup, or firewood. Maximum vehicle length is 22 feet. Open 6/16–12/1; call for road conditions when wet. Located 24 miles northeast of Wilsall on Shields River Rd.
