Sheep Pass Group Campground

Sheep Pass Group Campground is centrally located within Joshua Tree National Park in Southern California. It is one of three group campgrounds in the park, with six sites for groups of 10-60 people. Towering rock formations and uniquely-shaped Joshua trees surround the facility. Sheep Pass is at an elevation of 4,500 feet with a mix of sun and shade. It provides easy access to Ryan Mountain trail, Geology Tour Road, hiking trails, popular rock climbing routes, and other park attractions. Sites feature fire rings, picnic tables, and charcoal grills. Pit toilets and dumpsters are available but no drinking water or electrical hookups. Access involves rough roads.
