Shawnee Backpackers Trail Camp 5 is a designated backpack campsite along the 36.4-mile Shawnee State Forest Backpack Trail in Scioto and Adams Counties, Ohio. Water is available at the beginning of the side trail to Camp 5. Camping requires a free self-registration permit. Campers must move to a different site each day and cannot stay more than 14 days in any 30-day period. Contact: Shawnee State Forest (740-858-6685) or Shawnee State Park (740-858-6652).
