Shark Harbor Campground offers a limited number of beachfront campsites adjacent to Little Harbor on Catalina Island. There are 6 campsites in Shark Harbor (SH8, SH9, SH10 are beachfront). Amenities include vault/chemical toilets, drinking water, cold showers, picnic tables, fire rings, and grates. A camp host and ranger are present during peak season. Reservations are required. Activities include hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, and wildlife viewing. Additional Info: Campsites are a short walk to the beach. Food must be stored in critter boxes to protect from birds, foxes, and rodents. Check-in at 2 PM, checkout at 11 AM.
