Service Creek Campground offers four walk-in tent sites under large ponderosa trees along the John Day River. It serves as a boat launch and staging area for river trips, with parking available in a large gravel lot. All sites are first-come, first-served with no reservations. Additional Info: $5 per night per campsite; $2 per each additional vehicle. No potable water, no utility hookups, no garbage service. Vault toilets available. Open year-round with seasonal fire restrictions June 1 through October 15.
