Sea Lion Gulch is a backpacking campsite along California's Lost Coast Trail in the King Range National Conservation Area, reached by hiking approximately 5 miles south from Mattole Beach trailhead. It offers primitive backcountry camping with no facilities or vehicle access. Additional Info: Named for nearby sea lions frequenting offshore rocks; part of the remote Lost Coast Trail where hikers camp on bluffs overlooking the gulch.
