Schafer State Park Campground is a newly opened facility (opened 2024) in Elma, Washington, offering 62 campsites including 29 standard campsites, 34 partial utility sites accommodating RVs up to 40 feet long, 4 walk-in sites, and 1 primitive site for hikers. The campground features clean restrooms with hot showers, potable water, electricity and water hookups, sewer hookups, fire rings, picnic tables, and a dump station. Amenities include beach access, barbecue facilities, coin-operated laundry, hiking trails, observation decks, a grassy meadow, guest clubhouse with showers, boat dock, hot tub, picnic gazebo, and communal lounge. The park provides easy river access for fishing, wading, and floating. WiFi is available for RV guests. Pets are not allowed. The campground is open year-round with no cell service.
