Scenic State Park

Scenic State Park features two drive-in campgrounds (Chase Point with 69 sites and Lodge with 25 sites) set in a pine forest surrounding Coon Lake and Sandwick Lake. Some sites offer electric hookups. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers (fee), picnic tables, fire rings, dump station, boat ramps, playground, and beach. Additional options include backpack sites on Pine Lake, canoe/boat-in sites on Sandwick Lake, group camp, and a CCC rental cabin. Reservations recommended via mndnr.gov/reservations. Additional Info: Established in 1921, the park offers hiking trails, fishing, canoeing, and a historic CCC-built lodge with interpretive displays.
