Scenic Beach State Park Campground
About this site
Scenic Beach State Park is a 121-acre camping park with 1,500 feet of saltwater beachfront on Hood Canal. The campground provides 50 standard campsites, 18 pull-through RV sites accommodating vehicles up to 60 feet, and two dedicated hiker/biker sites. Facilities include two restrooms with four showers, drinking water, fire pits at each site, trash service, and a dump station. A primitive group camp accommodates up to 40 people with a covered picnic shelter, vault toilet, fire pits, and water spigot. The park is known for its wild, native rhododendrons in spring and features the restored 1912 Emel House. Recreational opportunities include beach exploration, kayaking, paddleboarding, scuba diving, swimming, fishing, and metal detecting in designated areas. Pets are allowed on leash. Sites 1-25 operate year-round; sites 26-50 close for winter from November 1 through March 31.
