Scaddon Wash 14 Day Area

Free BLM dispersed camping area located approximately 3.5 miles east of Quartzsite, Arizona. The 14-day camping area is situated on a vast desert plain surrounded by mountains at an elevation of 970 feet. There are no designated campsites; camping is allowed anywhere within the area on level desert pavement. No amenities are provided. The area is big rig friendly and suitable for various vehicle sizes. A host station is present for check-in and registration. The area is patrolled by BLM rangers. Nearby highway noise may be noticeable but typically fades after a few days. The location offers wide-open spaces and views of desert sunrises and sunsets.
