Scab Creek Small Vehicle Campsite 8

The small vehicle campground is located within the Scab Creek Recreation Area. It provides 12 sites, including one group site. No pack stock are allowed in this campground. Scab Lake trailhead is located at the entrance to the campground, and Scab Creek trailhead is located along the road before entering the campground, at the backpacker parking area. There is a vault toilet and potable water available. Additional Info: BLM-managed site at ~8,200 feet elevation in the foothills of the Wind River Mountains. Open May to mid-November, first-come first-served, free, 14-day stay limit. Vault toilets and potable water available. No hookups or dump station.
