SAWYER POND SHELTER & TENT PLATFORMS (Campground) Additional Info: This backcountry campsite in White Mountain National Forest features one shelter sleeping 6 people and 6 tent platforms each accommodating up to 8 people. It includes 2 pit toilets and fire rings at each platform. Water must be filtered from the pond. Sawyer River Road is closed to vehicles; access requires hiking from Route 302 gate or fording Swift River from Kancamagus Highway.
