About this site
Savanna Portage State Park Campground has 61 single-family campsites (18 w/electric hookups) and is located next to Shumway Lake. A camper cabin, 6 backpack sites, 1 canoe site and group camping (up to 30 people) are also available to rent. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 55 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush & vault toilets, showers, a dump station and trash collection. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. A boat ramp is also near the campground. Generators are okay, but not during quiet hours (10pm to 8am). Cell service is poor in the area.
