Nearby Attractions Watford City is a 30 min drive East and Sidney, Montana is 30 min drive West for any supplies that you may need. Additional Info: The campground is located in the Little Missouri National Grassland (also known as Dakota Prairie National Grasslands) approximately 26 miles southwest of Watford City, ND or 22 miles northeast of Sidney, MT off Highway 68. The terrain consists of open grasslands and rolling hills. Maximum vehicle length is 60 feet. Amenities include vault toilets, hand pump water, fire pits, and picnic shelters. There are no electrical, water, or sewer hookups. A floating fishing pier is available in the day-use loop for fishing bass, crappie, and trout. The campground is approximately one hour north of Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
