This is an Appalachain Trail shelter. Additional Info: Small shelter built in 2002 with capacity for 12. Water from box spring 0.1 miles beyond on blue-blazed trail. Privy available. Tent pads that can accommodate two tents each. Maintained by Roanoke Appalachian Trail Club on USFS land. Memorial to Scott Marshall Riddick.
