Saranac Lake Islands is a boat-access-only camping area with 79 primitive campsites distributed across islands in the trio of Saranac Lakes in the Adirondack region. Camping is primitive with outhouses at each location. No potable water is available. Campsites are accessible only by paddling across the Saranac Lakes. Reservations are required and can be made up to 9 months in advance through New York State Parks Reserve America system.
