Santiam Horse Camp

Santiam Horse Camp offers 9 equestrian campsites with log corrals (requiring at least one pack or saddle animal) and 2 tent-only sites for non-motorized users. All sites have picnic tables and fire grates. Amenities include potable water from a hand pump, vault toilets, manure bins, and trash service. One pull-through site; others back-in. Serves as trailhead for Monument Peak Trail System in Santiam State Forest. Additional Info: Reopened summer 2022 after 2020 fires. Reservations required via Oregon State Parks system up to 6 months in advance. Season typically May 15 - October 4; closed through May 14, 2026.
