Fourteen primitive Yellow Post Sites sit at 7,300 feet on Santa Rosa Mountain in the San Bernardino National Forest. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. There's no water, no trash service, and the access road can damage low-clearance vehicles. Santa Rosa Yellow Post Sites provide a primitive camping experience with minimal facilities. It is designed for tent and car camping and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Water is available only at Santa Rosa Spring Yellow Post Site 3 & 4, the only restroom is located near Yellow Post Sites 10 – 14. All sites are first come, first serve, no reservations. Maximum stay is 14 days. 8 persons maximum per site, 2 vehicles maximum. High clearance vehicles are recommended; 4WD is required in winter. Campfire permits are required for any type of fire use.
