Santa Rosa Yellow Post Site #8 is one of 14 remote campsites scattered across the high ridges of Santa Rosa Mountain in San Bernardino National Forest, ideal for tent and car camping. Each site offers a fire ring and picnic table but lacks developed amenities. Water is available only at Sites 3 & 4; restrooms are near Sites 10-14. All sites are first-come, first-served with a 14-day camping limit, maximum 8 persons and 2 vehicles. Pack out all trash and obtain a free campfire permit for any fire use. Additional Info: Access via Santa Rosa Truck Trail (FR 7S02) requires high-clearance 4WD vehicle due to steep, rocky conditions with hairpin turns.
