About this site
Santa Rosa Yellow Post Sites are a series of 14 remote camping sites scattered across the high ridges of Santa Rosa Mountain in San Bernardino National Forest, at approximately 7,300 feet elevation. Each site includes a fire ring and picnic table. Water is available only at Yellow Post Sites 3 & 4; the only restroom is located near Yellow Post Sites 10-14. All sites are first-come, first-served with a 14-day camping limit. Access is via Forest Road 7S02 (Santa Rosa Truck Trail), an unpaved road requiring high ground clearance; 4WD is recommended in winter. Trailers longer than 20 feet are not recommended due to hairpin turns and steep inclines. Campfire permits are required. Trash services are not provided; pack out all waste.
