Santa Rosa Yellow Post Site #15
About this site
Santa Rosa Yellow Post Site #15 is one of 14 remote primitive campsites scattered across the high ridges of Santa Rosa Mountain in San Bernardino National Forest, ideal for tent and car camping. Each site offers a fire ring and picnic table but lacks developed amenities. Water is available only at Sites 3 & 4; a restroom is near Sites 10-14. All sites are first-come, first-served, free, with a 14-day limit, max 8 persons and 2 vehicles. Pack out all trash. Accessed via 4WD-required Santa Rosa Truck Trail (FR 7S02); small trailers under 20 feet possible but challenging due to steep inclines and hairpins. Additional Info: Managed by San Jacinto Ranger District. No reservations or permits required for camping. Dogs allowed on leash.
