About this site

Santa Rosa Yellow Post Site 2 is one of 14 remote, primitive campsites scattered across the high ridges of Santa Rosa Mountain in San Bernardino National Forest. These sites offer isolated scenic spots ideal for tent and car camping. Each site includes a fire ring and picnic table but lacks developed amenities. Water is available only at Sites 3 & 4; restrooms are near Sites 10-14. No trash service—pack in, pack out. All sites are first-come, first-served with an 8-person and 2-vehicle maximum, 14-day limit. Accessed via unpaved Forest Road 7S02 (Santa Rosa Truck Trail), which requires high-clearance or 4WD vehicles.
