Sandy Mountain is a 46-acre family campground located 30 minutes south of Ottawa on County Road 43, 4km east of Highway 416. The property features 146 campsites accommodating tents to full-size RVs available by the day, week, month, or season. The facility also includes a 9-hole par 3 golf course, 9-hole mini putt course, a mobile home park, and two apartment buildings. Sandy Mountain has been owned and operated by the Durant family since 1972 and is centrally located near historic attractions including Merrickville, Fort Wellington, and Upper Canada Village.
