About this site
Located at the Utica Reservoir, non motorized lake, campsites have food lockers, fire rings and picnic tables with designated parking spurs. Please practice Leave No Trace and Pack it in, Pack it out principles. Additional Info: Sandy Flat Campground offers 9 single sites and 1 triple site (Granite Gulch sites 10,11 & 12). Elevation 6,800 feet. Operates first-come, first-served except reservations required for Sandy Flat and Granite Gulch triple site June 15th - September 7th via Recreation.gov. Vault toilets and trash collection available. Water not available. Non-motorized boat ramps present. Pets OK. Maximum vehicle length up to 30 feet. Sites accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs; sites 4A and 4B are walk-to tent only.
