San Elijo State Beach Campground offers 165 ocean-view sites for tents, trailers, and RVs up to 35 feet, with beach access via stairways, showers, restrooms, dump station, and camp store. Select sites have full or partial hookups. Pets allowed in campground but not on beach. Additional Info: Located on bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean along Highway 101 in Encinitas, CA. Fire pits, picnic tables, and grills at each site. Reservations recommended.

Favorite spot for local camping when you just need to “get-away”. Easy. Always run into a friend . Right on the cliffs to the beach. Lots of kids on skateboards and bikes. Iconic places to eat right across the street. Good surf right in front. You may hear the train a few times, but it’s part of the ambiance of San Elijo! It’s just a fun camp out spot. Bring your good vibes, chill by a fire pit and thank God for the beautiful sunsets!
