Ruby Horsethief River Campsites Additional Info: Salt Creek 2 is a designated backpacking campsite within Salt Creek Canyon at Canyonlands National Park. The site is accessible via a 22.5 mile hiking trail between Cathedral Butte Trailhead and Peekaboo. Reservations are required and can be made through Recreation.gov. Most backpackers spend 2-3 nights in Salt Creek Canyon.
