About this site

​Eight years ago, we opened our campground gates having no clue what we got ourselves into. The seasons that have passed have been a beautiful gift. We have met travelers from all over the world and have gained an incredible number of regulars from our area. Some of these guests have become family to us and we are so grateful to everyone who has supported us and this beautiful ride. We are anticipating our 2025 season to be our busiest yet and cannot wait to meet some awesome campers. ​For those who have not stayed with us before, Salmon Valley Campground is located 25 minutes North of Prince George, British Columbia along the beautiful Salmon River. ​From the moment we stepped foot on this beautiful property, we felt something special. We wanted to create a space for those visiting to relax, connect with nature, themselves and those they are with. We opened our gates in 2018 and each year, and since then, we have been joined by campers from all over the world. Many of our campers who have fallen in love with our property, the feeling you get when you are here, and because of this, have chosen to spend as much time out here as possible. Together, we have created a very special community of like-hearted campers. ​Whether you are tenting or camping in an RV, we have sites for everyone. Currently, we have 16 serviced sites with power and water. Many of our sites are along the river and some within the forest. We also have a cozy 30 foot two bedroom glamping trailer available to those guests who do not have accommodations. Our newly renovated wash house has flushing toilets, free hot showers and we have complimentary sani-dump on site for those guests staying with us. We have dry firewood for sale and will deliver right to your site.
