Salmon River Dispersed Area #1 is a designated dispersed camping area marked by a sign along the east side of Highway 75 near Stanley, Idaho in the Sawtooth National Forest, but unmarked on forest service maps. Additional Info: Free first-come first-served boondocking spot right on the Salmon River. 10 day stay limit May 1-September 15th; unlimited outside that period. Pack in pack out, no services.
