Trailhead and dispersed camping. Information kiosk and vault restroom. Additional Info: Located in canyon bottom adjacent to Salina Creek at 7,260 feet elevation, surrounded by mixed conifer and aspen. Dirt parking available. No horse hitching posts or corrals. No overnight camping allowed in parking lots. Second Crossing campground is just south of this trailhead. Popular activities include horseback riding, hiking, hunting, fishing, viewing wildlife, dispersed camping, and OHV riding on designated routes.
